Shaggies are one of my favourite patterns. These lures pack a punch and certainly aggravate trout. They are designed to target fish feeding hard on fry, while also triggering an aggressive response in territorial fish. The bright colours used also generate bites out of curiosity, making this one of the most versatile lures you can have in your fly box.
